MYMIC Announces Contract Award to provide Historian-Writer support to the Army’s Combat Studies Institute

Portsmouth, VA - MYMIC LLC continues to expand its capabilities in support of Army and joint Warfighter decision makers. Partnered with Dynamic Research Corporation (DRC), MYMIC will support the development of analytical articles and book length manuscripts on current and emerging topics of interest related to Army doctrine and training topics. MYMIC and DRC historians will assist the Army’s Combat Studies Institute, located within the Combined Arms Center, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, in fulfilling its mission to support the joint Warfighter by providing original, relevant, historically-based research products. These products also fulfill the Army’s leader development, operational and doctrinal requirements. In addition to the research products produced, MYMIC and DRC Historians assist the Combat Studies Institute with fulfilling its role as the historical think-tank for the Combined Arms Center.

MYMIC LLC, “The Architects of Change”, is a high-technology, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, founded in 2000 by Dr. Thomas W. Mastaglio and Mr. William L. Younger Jr., to support military training, experimentation, concept development, and requirements analyses.
