MYMIC LLC Opens New Regional Office in Orlando, Florida

PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA: MYMIC LLC, a privately held high-technology, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, headquartered in Portsmouth, Virginia, has announced the opening of a new regional office in Orlando, Florida. MYMIC now has a presence in Orlando, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas; and Ft. Lee, Virginia.

“This strategic Orlando location will allow MYMIC to better serve our growing customer base in the southeast as well as support MYMIC corporate activities,” according to Dr. Jeffery Wilkinson, MYMIC Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Wilkinson will head the new Orlando facility and is pleased to announce an immediate new hire to support MYMIC’s rapid growth.

• William Giesey has been hired as a Senior Military Analyst in support of the United States Joint Forces Command, Future Immersive Training Environment, Joint Capabilities Technology Demonstration (USJFCOM FITE JCTD). Mr. Giesey will investigate, develop, assess and document the effectiveness of training support employed during the development of the FITE JCTD. The FITE JCTD development is employing a game-based virtual environment and wearable immersive training ensemble to train Marine and Army dismounted infantry squads in decision making during lethal and non-lethal counterinsurgency operations. Mr. Giesey will also directly support other military research and training projects. Mr. Giesey is a retired Army Sergeant Major who previously served as the Observer/Controller Task Force Sergeant Major at the US Army Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC).
