MYMIC LLC Moves to High Technology Corridor in West Portsmouth

Portsmouth, VA April 30, 2009.  MYMIC LLC, a high technology company, held an Open House and ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon, at its new, state of the art facility, located within the MAST ONE building in west Portsmouth, 1040 University Boulevard.  The 4500 square foot facility provides laboratory space for up to five concurrent research projects, and work space for more than thirty professionals and corporate support personnel. The facility is located within five minutes of the US Joint Forces Joint Training and Experimentation complex and adjacent to the Old Dominion University Tri-Cities Education Center and Virginia Modeling, Analysis & Simulation Center (VMASC).  The facility consolidates all of MYMIC’s corporate activities into one location and provides for growth expansion.  Mayor Holley, City of Portsmouth and Delegate John Cosgrove attended the event and made brief remarks before the ribbon was cut officially opening the facility.  Those in attendance were then able to view several demonstrations of current MYMIC technology projects including game-based learning, research and analysis, logistics modeling and simulation and executable architectures.

“We are very excited about this move.  It will allow us to better serve our employees and customers and continue to grow our capability to serve the needs of the warfighter in a variety of critical focus areas including training, research and analysis and modeling and simulation,” says Tom Mastaglio, President and CEO of MYMIC LLC.“
