| Bachelors Degree, 10+ years military experience in operations research, operations, intelligence, or training. Strong interest/capability in research, analysis, assessment, concept development, with excellent quantitative, written/oral communication, organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment. Current security clearance required. Recent experience in Iraq or Afghanistan is, advanced degree, command and staff, Joint military experience, and recent theater experience a plus. |
MYMIC has an immediate need for a military experienced professional with an operations or intelligence background and a strong interest in individual and small team training, design & evaluation of new operational and training tools, evaluation of equipment and training/operations/intelligence concepts development. Must be able to think and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to travel on occasion to military training sites to collect data and conduct observations.
A Military Studies Analyst requires a strong background in analysis, writing, and project management. Candidates should be recent military personnel with experience in operations or intelligence. Experience in the contemporary operating environment, operational intelligence, or experience in Joint, Inter-Agency, and Multinational operations are a plus. This individual will be responsible for supporting in-house research efforts and analytic studies in support of our military client base and expanding our studies capability to other clients, government agencies and within the commercial sector. Studies to date include assessments of Army simulation training systems, front end technology assessments for future training system programs, analysis of usage requirements and input to fielding plans for future training systems, assessments of evolving technologies, and research into cultural understanding. Specific duties shall include oversight and day to day operational control of all MYMIC study contracts to include client relationship building, business development, proposal management and post-award program management. The Military Studies Analyst will be required to supervise assigned administrative and technical personnel in a matrix organization, and coordinate the use of outside subcontractors and consultants to assist with study planning, data collection and analysis. Other duties include the analysis of information using both statistical and logical methods and reporting analysis results through formal and informal briefings and written papers. Some short-duration (2-4 days) travel on an intermittent basis to various U.S. military training and conference locations will be required. |
